The hotel is set in a stunning location in Valle Mistico, which is about 10 minutes from town. While there are four pools, only one of them is really well maintained. I enjoyed the food during my conference, and the staff was super nice and accommodating. However, it was inconvenient that there wasn't a bar to grab a beer after a long day, and the presence of mosquitoes during the rain was less than ideal due to the lack of accessible bug repellent.
